Reservations are highly recommended for individuals and required for groups. Reservations can be made by phone or electronically. When requesting a reservation please provide the reservation office with two alternative dates, a daytime telephone number, and your zip code.
There are a variety of surfaces and levels in the gardens and grounds. The tour also involves climbing several staircases so visitors are asked to take their physical condition into account when making reservations. Those requiring special assistance are encouraged to notify the Reservation Office. Tours last two and a half to three hours. There are no food or picnic facilities at Nemours Mansion and Gardens.
Visitors must arrive at the reception center on Route 141 and Alapocas Drive at least 15 minutes prior to the tour. Visitors must be over 12 years of age.

Tours: Nemours Mansion and Gardens is open May 1st through December 30th.
Tours will be closed Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as, November 4th through November 9th.
Holiday tours will begin November 10th and run through December 30th.

Take I-95 to Wilmington, DE.
Take Exit # 8 North (Concord Pike/Route 202 North.
Follow signs to Route 141 (Powder Mill Drive) South.
Proceed on Route 141 (Powder Mill Drive) South.
Turn left onto Alapocas Dr.
Make an immediate left into parking area of the Visitor Center.

Using Route 52
Take Route 52.
Follow signs for Route 141 (Powder Mill Drive) North.
After crossing the bridge, turn left and continue on Route 141 (Powder Mill Drive) North.
At traffic light, turn right onto Alapocas Dr.
Make an immediate left into parking area of the Visitor Center.

Using Route 202
Take Route 202 South.
Cross the Delaware State Line.
Continue south until you come to Route 141 (Powder Mill Drive) South. (on your right.)
Turn right onto 141 (Powder Mill Drive) South
Follow signs and proceed on Route 141 (Powder Mill Drive) South.
Turn left onto Alapocas Dr.
Make an immediate left into parking area of the Visitor Center.
